Location: Berlin | Guys, I am selling most of my gear. I have trolling, spinning and casting combo's. A bunch of crankbaits some still new in box. Jigs, line, terminal tackle, you name it. I would like to have a sale in Oshkosh soon but am not sure of the date. Keep an eye on here for details. Location: Berlin | Yes, I am done for good. I have a family that I neglected for too long due to fishing and other hobbies. I woke up one morning and realized what I was doing to my family and got my priorities straight. I could not be happier now.
I met a ton of great people (many from this site). I have some great memories and some great friendships because of it but it was time for me.
Thanks to all that emailed me with concerns and encouragement. Thanks to my partners for the good times and for putting up with me and thanks to you all here for dealing with my sense of humor.
Stay safe out there and remember what is important in life. Good luck to you all! |

Location: Berlin | Thanks Dennis. I waited a while to make sure this was what I really wanted to do as I got that same advice from a good friend a while back. My wife was opposed to this but I knew it was what I wanted and needed to do.
The babies are gone along with everything else. You gotta be fast with me, I give crazy deals whn I want to get rid of something so it goes fast. |

Location: LaCrosse, WI | Sounds like a big sacrifice, but I'm sure the rewards outweigh the sacrifice 10 fold. I gave up tournaments (at least traveling for them, I still fish a few small local ones here and there), but now have the pleasure of taking my 6 year old son out to catch whatever bites and go for boat rides once in a while.
Keep your fishing friends close for when you need a fix. I'm sure there are plenty of folks who would let you hop in. Enjoy the family time and check in with us once in a while. Just leave the naked pictures of Jerry out of it please. |

Location: Berlin | My buddy Justin Kreuger bought it all. He helped me out big time a few months ago and it was the least I could do for him.
