Subject: Calendar Girl Contest

Just letting you know that there is going to be a calendar girl photo shoot going on at Wood-eyes Bar & Grill in Winneconne on December 15th. We have a well known photographer flying in to take the photos who happens to be the brother-in-law of my new graphic artist. It's going to be tastefully done, something like the "Women in Waders" calendar mentioned on the Outdoor Life web site. Open auditions are from 2 - 4 pm with the photo shoot starting as soon as the first girl is chosen. Six girls will be chosen to represent 2 months in the calendar which will be filled with pertinent Wolf River Country fishing information including ice out dates, fishing and hunting information, coupons and more. Voting will be conducted Saturday night starting after the photo shoot to determine the cover girl. All six girls will receive $100, a portfolio of their photo shoot and a chance for a grand prize that will be given away at the end of the summer. The project printing and advertising is being headed by the publisher I work with at the Outdoor Gazette. I can forward contact information to any interested advertisers. Stop at Wood-eyes, located in Critters Sports in Winneconne December 15. Calendar will run from March 1, 2008 to February 28, 2009 and will be introduced at the NEW Sports Show in Green Bay and Ice Breaker 3 March 8 - 9, 2008.

Just a note to let people know that this is NOT going to be a wet t-shirt contest or bikini show. Calendar representatives will be chosen based on looks AND knowledge of the outdoors including ability to hold a fish or look like they have actually shot a bow or gun before. There are some very beautiful local woman who hunt and fish, we hope to capture that in our calendar.

I guess that answers my question, which was, "Will waders be the ONLY thing they are wearing?"

No, the waders only shots are for the Women on Shep Calendar that I couldn't get finalized. Sorry, I tried. It wasn't as much the lack of interest on the publisher side, or women volunteers, it was finding a photographer. We showed a couple of candidates preliminary shots and have not heard back. The look on their faces said volumes though. If I can get someone to shoot the pictures I hope you're still up, for the photo shoot. I also hope you like very large women with body hair as that has been what's signing up. The one from the Ukraine is the leading candidate.

Doc...
It sounded pretty good until you I got to the part about "tastefully done" and
"No wet tee shirt or bikini show".

As we say in MT:

gee...that's too b-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ad

;);)

Its a smiley from another forum I visit...a gaming one. I then copied the file to my computer and uploaded it to the WF album. Cut/Paste the link from the album and used the RICH TEXT EDITOR to make it an image link.

I have lots more....

I don't know, Johnnie- I've been to North Dakota.... I think "Denise" (pretty sure that's her name) could hold her own there...
