Well - its been a while in the making, but my new X190 just arrived at Holman Marine - she is one sweet looking ride. It will be sporting a 200 Etec very soon.

I'll try to post some pictures once I figure it out..

Well,

I guess I won't be the first guy in the area to own one. I'm pretty sure that this will be the boat I get when I decide to have a nice boat again. This will be the ultimate river machine.

Congrats, and enjoy.

I won't have to sit in the back of this one while running down the river will I?

Or have to pump the bulb to go faster?

Nice looking rig

Fireflick - you have earn a seat in the front of my boat, but if you keep talking about pumping the bulb you might not even get a ride.

I might need to go through your spare prop inventory during the tuning stage..

This boat is under strict lock and key and I am charging admission to touch it.....ha ha. Dale here from Holmen Marine LTD. Rick had a lot of influence in the development of this boat along with Zach and it was made for the Mississippi River Tournament Angler. Rick has decided to go with the I-Command Lowrance Gauging to make this a true high performance machine. I would be more then welcome to show anyone this boat in the upcoming week as we are rigging it. Please stop in at Holmen Marine as I would like to set one of these up for YOU. We offer Mercury, Yamaha, or Evinrude outboards so the choice totally up to your liking. E-mail me at [email protected] or stop on in Saturday 9-5 or M-F 9-5:30. Please give me a heads up so I can expect your visit. Our address is 116 Holmen Drive, Holmen, WI 54636- Just 10 minutes north of LaCrosse- as short drive from almost anywhere! This is one sweet rig with a distinct passion for speed.

Yes, this boat can come with a tandem trailer. However, it's light enough, at #1300lbs without a motor, and just over #2000lbs. with a motor and fully rigged. So there is really no need for a tandem trailer, but the option is there.

Guest, what would you liked to see? I can take pics of my X-190 that is sitting in the garage if you'd like? Still finishing up a few things in the way of rigging but let me know if there is something particular you'd like to see more of.

Is it available with a full windshield? That really would make it the ultimate river boat!!!

Unfortunately it's not available in a full windshield. Only available in a single, dual and tiller models.

Here is the link.

It is not available in a full windshield only due to our perceived demand. If we see a demand for that model we would make the full walk-through windshield available.

Brought the boat home tonight, but still have a few things to do before its water ready. I should have this on the River (pool 7) this Sat for the maiden voyage.
Watch for updates..

WOW! Looks very sharp! Now only if it had a black thing on the back, just kidding. Very nice rig! Did you put a thru-hull transducer for your console sonar? I'm tryin to figure out the best place to rig the transducer.

TJ,
Thanks for the comments.. Yes, put the thru-hull puck in up close to where the hull thickens (where the pumps are mounted). I'm hoping I like the reading, but have a high speed puck for plan "B".

As for the single axle trailer - this towed very well behind my Yukon and I save over a $1000.00 not needing duals. Very nice trailer with surge brakes and the back-up overide.

Shelley - the cooler is built-in and the passenger console is bigger than a bread box
See ya on the water soon.

So,

How did you like the ride. I saw you on 7 with this rig yesterday. That white motor really stuck out. I could see it from about a mile away.

Boat is running good, but still playing around with props. Went through several and the RakerII 22 is close and around 60mph. Going to try Zach's Tempest 23 later this week. (tried cyclone 21, viper 21 - both mid 50's, raker II 26 - way too big).

Tried out Motorguide's DS82 trolling motor - very nice, very easy to deploy, and even works off an optional remote fob - best of both worlds in trolling motors.

Special thanks to Dale @ Holmen Marine and Jarard Flukiger for props..
Rick

Rick,

How did the thru-hull transducer work for you? Did you maintain depth reading at 60mph? Curious on how it did. Toying with the idea of ordering that puck.

TJ, Thru-hull worked great, maintained readings @ all ranges.. Puck is mounted towards the back where it thins down behind the pumps (6-8" back of the floor access).
Also - the 522IC worked well mounted on the bow and tilted - no signal loss all day.
