We sure thought that it was great at Holcome. Big Muskies and lots of room to roam on the lake. Plus I would like to try and snag my Beckman net. Seemed to be in a good part of the state so it wasn't to far for everyone to drive. Just my 2 cents.

It's not April yet Kirt! LOL! I myself am looking forward to another great time. Fiberdome /Tuffy Boats put on a great get together. Anyone who owns a Tuffy and decides not to participate don't know what they are missing. Good times, good people!

First off.....I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.......In regards to the Tuffy GTG.....The location was ideal for our social.......Water facility, shoreline, and resort. There was an equation with the resort as to there financials versus foreclosure the week we arrived.....It was close as to not having an outing.....I currently do not know there status. Now would be a wonderful time to throw around a few ideas and try to establish a date......Keeping in mind the home Badger games and location.......

I, not speaking for Zach or Steve wouldn't mind returning to the same resort if they are open......Price was right, food was good, banquet facilities ideal, launch was perfect, docking good, fishery perfect. If you recall the wind was howling but the floage still remained calm......

Now would be a great time to cut a date and location.....All resorts are looking to secure summer or fall business.

I think Mr. Bendall said they'd know more by April. Being this has taken place after Labor Day weekend, finding a resort hasn't been too much of an issue.

When is Wisc Musky opener? I would suggest having it after that

Good one!!

Cheating 101 states you should not under any circumstances get thumped 55-0.
The last time we cheated it was basketball, where the reward justifies the means.

Maybe if we go back, they will have my Red Mercury jacket shell. Last time I remeber having it was Satruday night in the bar next to Zach. We came in from fishing, had a couple, and went to the room. I realized it was missing Sunday after we got home. Maybe there is a number for up there I could call to see if they maybe have it?

If the GTG is there again, that would be great. I had a great time fishing Holcombe with Jason and was glad to get the wife a top water muskie at night. That was fun.

Brian......You are correct with your last gopher cheating episode, but if I remember correctly Lou Holz also cheated up there with Football.....

Wisconsin's current coach Bilemma is on the chopping block......So hopefully with a thumping from Florida State this will be the final stake in his heart.....

I don't remember Lou cheating, heck we didn't win enough to be labeled cheaters. Lou did fill the dome, quite the salesman, could sell snow to Eskimos.

As far as the get together.......................are old (1991) Tuffy guys allowed?

Not only are they allowed, I believe they are encouraged. Taking a ride in the newer models might get your blood stirring for a newer one. If you can't make it, there are several of us that always have open seats during the year.

Anyone who has a Tuffy needs to check this GTG out. I can't wait till next year. I know one thing for sure, Tina and I are not putting our tickets in until after they draw for the grand prize this time. Good people, good food, good fishing, and Steve Bendall made sure the beer was ice cold by lunchtime for all the thirsty ones. I can't say enough good about this event.

If you would like I can check to see if there is new owners or status of the place from last year. If not there I can look for a couple of other places in the area.

Hopefully by then I'll be ridin' an X190 and won't have to come in on a motorcycle.

If the old Pardise Shores isn't open I have a few questions?

1. Does the on-the-water gathering area need so be the same place that offers lodging? I.e. one location for everything?

2. If not, approximately how many rooms do you anticipate needing.

S. Bendall, if you would like me to check into this for you please call me at
Work Cell 715-577-0490 6am-4pm
Personal Cell 715-579-7463 Anytime between 5am and 10pm

Be careful dave, we drink a lot of beer! You might have to take out a 2nd mortgage to cover the tab.
