same story , different year, thier results must be more complicated than other series, takes days or weeks to post them, instead of hours.

Congratulations Trap (Gerald Valesky) on your win at the Battle of the Bay tournament! Those are some nice fish. You deserve it after the second at Merc National. Mabe they just don't want to post results because you aren't a member of the club!!!

Nice job Trap! Who'd you fish with?

Wow a 2nd on Bago and a win on the Bay, it's a good thing the Fox River Classic got stuck in the river other wise you would have put a hurt'n on the field there too!

Maybe you should start fishing tournaments again?

Thanks guys, we weighed a 10 pound average. I feel bad that one of those fish might not have made it back alive. I'll tell the story at a later date. House got stuck by lightning when I was away so I got things to do. Thanks again!!

FYI: The two years that i did the leaderboard, i had the results up within 1 hour of the tourney ending. I have been working hard at getting the results, but there seems to be a broken link getting them to me to post them on the website.

I apologize for any inconveniences, i put some pics up, however I have no results.

Congats, GV , don't worry about 1 fish big guy, us locals are just glad not to see the dozens of carcasses floating in the river as was the result the first time SWC came to town, and carelessly dumped the fish in the warm river.

Okay.....that's it!!!!

The first time SWC came to Oconto they either live released the fish out in the Bay or they kept the questionable ones and donated them to the local pantry. There were no issues.

The second year the fish were supposed to be released out in the Bay or kept. The gentlemen who ran the release pontoon, local volunteers, made some decisions that weren't the right ones and, along with the attending SWC members, paid for it with some negative criticism due to a FEW dead fish found near the launch. I REPEAT.... A FEW!!!!

The last few years have been very smooth and without incident.

I have a question for you: are you coming out with this negativity because you are in someone else's corner who, it just happens, runs a tourney the same weekend, or is there yet another motive?

I have to tell you 620, for someone who is trying to make it in the business of fishing you are going about it all the wrong way. Making someone else look bad without offering to help is childish and trivial. Trying to discredit an organization like the Sheboygan Walleye Club is going to put you in a bad way. There is more power in numbers and I assure you if you continue this slamfest you will lose in more ways than one. I for one am getting tired of the way you talk to people here and at WC and I guarantee you, if it continues there will be people with a new agenda.......making you look bad. From what I've seen it won't take much.

Once again Mr. R, take your meds. I said us locals are glad to see a change in the operation since the 2007 incident where there was not a FEW but many fish floating, a FACT, unless you fished way up here the next a couple days after that event, you can't say any different and if you do your a liar. I don't think stating a fact about the dead fish in 07 is an attempt to discredit anyone, 1 event out of how many ? But you certainly make attempt to shift blame to some locals making bad decicions, not even sure if you are talking about the same event as 07. And since your going to tell me how to go about this fishing business, I'd have to say from what the word is you'd be the last guy to take advice from, especially on sponser retention...., but then again I don't know you, so unlike you I won't judge your character or lack there of.

Actually Stacker it does make me a friend, we can't forget or sweep the mistakes of the past under the rug, you learn from them to make sure it doesn't happen again, it leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of the comunities, that's why AIM was so welcome by Green Bay, the memories of the NTC floaters are still fresh in the minds of the locals.

Dennis, no snow yet still hot and muggy like you experienced last weekend in the valley.

Lol!!! That was great Dennis!

I just got back from Green Bay with my bud from Kansas. We caught some great fish, with only two being under 24". He didn't get his 30" but came close. All fish were released too.

Take care bud!

And BTW.....the fishing on the upper reefs is good too!!!

Sponsor retention....now that's funny!!! The people I work for and previously worked for would move the world for me, as I for them!! Please tell me which sponsor I lost that would not have me back in two seconds or less??? I have multiple possibilities for next year if I choose to come back and all of them are with people I worked with previously.

I may have overreacted a bit in 620's criticism and I apologize, but I stand behind the factual information I wrote. If what you want is to call me a liar then do so....that is your choice. I'm done with this issue.....someone with more time to waste can play on my behalf.

Since we are getting off the topic: He anyone tried to slow down and work some of the bigger schools instead of just trolling over them? I thought someone won a tournament a few years ago with bottom bouncers going like .5mph

Well, I will only say this. When I was at the launch in oconto a few years back and watched 3 old guys who said they were locals and they did this many days because they were retired and they had 9 hogs, and I mean hogs from spring, in the well. dont no one tell me that all are saints.

Rehashing black eyes on the internet does not make you a friend, it makes you a pot stirrer Troy. Do this in the future, if you feel the need to run around the school yard pointing fingers, tell us about 5 good things that happened at the sme time as the bad. There are always way more good things that happen than bad.

Also, there was not that many really large fish caught during the NTC. Now 1996 MWC, you wont remember that, you were not around. So I will not tell you.

Have a nice day.

Also, I dont remember where the locals own the fish of the bay, i believe it is the citizens of the USA.

I mean sure, the guy is batting like .189, and strikes out alot, but he's got power and just needs a little tweak in his stance...
