Throw straight and true.

Be very careful out there -- The ice is really working this season and I've heard many reports of very irregular ice conditions and unusual cracking.

Saw Dale Frank on Fox 11 Good Morning Wisconsin yesterday morning.

He had at least three segments talking about spearing. They were broadcasting from Payne's Point.

It was some good face for Dale and the club.

Right on Bob, ice is changing hourly out there. Seems decent off the east shore, but bring on hundreds of trucks the next few days and who knows what will happen. I hope my clear water stays put, don't feel like moving as my spot feels like the right spot this year!

Good luck to all the fellow spearers and remember to post pics of your fish when you stick one!!

I'm not sure Dale's face is good publicity for anyone Sorry for the cheapshot Dale -- BeFishin threw a fat pitch right over the middle of the plate and I had to swing at it.

Dale and the rest of guys at Payne's Point provide wonderful opportunities for anglers and are great representatives to the broader community.

I took my kids down to the registration station at Payne's Point yesterday and we got to see plenty of fish come to the scales. Then we stopped by the club for lunch -- as always a great event.

Dale we waited at the registration until 1:00 for you and Ginny so that we could see Ginny's fish but the boys were getting restless and we had to go. I hope she got a big one. Congrats Ginny!

Heard a record 200+ pound fish was speared. Any pics? Congrats to all who were successful.

Jayman, you want me to stop calling? Seems it has only worked that first time!

Yep, a 212 lb. fish was taken Saturday. Shattered the old record.

You? Or the boy?

Nice shot, either way! Do you call it a shot? or a throw, or a toss?

Congrats Denny, nice fish. The east shore of Bago where we are is ice cold this year, was hot last year. One missed fish for 6 shacks over there and some mud clouds is all we've had. Uncle is on north shore, he is 0 for 3! He stuck a 80# plus this morning, but horsed it and the spear came out of the fish. Bummer. Guess we all should have gone up on that end, between Waverly and Lower Cliff sounded hot this year. Oh well, next year will be a new year.

Nice shot Denny. Must have been early in the morning because I know you wouldn't be abled to throw that straight by noon. Tina and I got one more day and I got one more trick up my sleave. Could be the year I get beat out by Mr Fox but I'll be going down swinging.
