WOW, IS ALL I CAN SAY!!! I LOVE WALLEYE BOATS, BUT SAW A RANGER 621 WITH A 300 MERC ($76,000). I CAN JUSTIFY 30-40K BUT 76. HOLY SH$&..
I THOUGHT PEOPLE WERE OUT OF JOB'S AND THE ECONOMY SUCKED. HECK. I SAW A NEW YARCRAFT FOR 31, AND PAIR THAT WITH A NEW TRUCK, YOU'D STILL BE AHEAD.. I BET IF YOU WON THE MERC 6YEARS IN A ROW YOU'D HAVE THE BOAT PAID FOR. NOT COMPLAINING, JUST WONDERING IF A GUY COULD EVEN AFFORD A 16FOOTER WITH A 90 ON IT ANYMORE!!!!

Sure. Lots of affordable 16' rigs out there.

There are Rangers in the low 30's too. Put the 300 Verado on a 21' Yar Craft making sure all the optional stuff that was on the Ranger is there, and compare numbers.

That boat is overpriced by alot. My local Ranger dealer has a 2010 621 with no kicker for 55K with a HDS 10 and HDS 7 terrova 101, add a kicker and rigging still less than 60K this boat has a 250 etech, even with a 300 you could get that boat for around 62-63 I'm sure of it. A 620 can be had for even less.

I observed the same thing yesterday. I think that 21' Skeeter was $52k. Makes a guy wonder where all this came from. What is the opinion from most of you guys on cost to produce versus sales price? I know nothing about cost of producing a boat/motor so interested to see what we can uncover?

My guess, probably making about 40% profit on each rig? It can't cost over $30,000 to make a boat and motor can it??

I believe that with all bells and whistles, you are talking over $21,000 for 300 Verado alone.

I'm not sure about the exact price on the Ranger/Verado package, but I can tell you that my last boat with G3, the V210F, for the boat, T-8 kicker, 4 stroke Yamaha 250, and trailer my price was $31000 and that was 25% BELOW manufacturers cost. Add in the bowmount trolling motor, electronics, and anything else you would rig it with and, you can see, the price gets up there quickly!!

check that... win the merc 5 years in a row after splitting the take with your partner you will have that new 18 footer with the 100 hp... oh wait that would take 5 years... Inflation. um make it 6 years in a row. a new 2016 will run you a few bucks more. now by 2016 im guessing you will see the new ranger 624 with a 500 hp turbo hydrogen electric hybred rig to comply with 2017 clean energy standards. they will go threw power heads for a wile till the get the bugs out of them but they will be SWEEEEEEEEEET ! just under 100 k if you dont get the optional east shore windmill quick charge plug in and go adaptor kit.

also available ( for a nominal fee) the new AIM live replicate and release tourny well. as the fish passes threw the unit measures water displacement to calculate exact size and weight of the fish sending a digital signal to the weigh in head quarters. it also test the fish for nutritional needs , possible illnesses and reproduction capabuility. then give the fish the injections needed , medications recomended ,feeds the fish and lets it go with in seconds. from this information a replica of the fish can be made and a vac packed fish dinner will be sent to your office at your lunch break later that week. (steaming hot) made from vegies and organic other natural ingrediants. No walleye will ever be harmed again!
in an unrealated story Kieth and Gary are under investigation for collecting Walleye DNA and transplanting it in themselves. although they have denied all charges it is kinda interesting that there are now swim ladders mounted on there boats and no fish poles used wile pre-fishing. Also wile standing next to the live fish display at bass pro all of the fish swim over to where they standing and seem to try to comunicate.

Bradley, name the bar of your choice and you got a couple free ones on us.

You are truly an enigma. You are the sum of all the hopes and dreams shared subliminally between all that seek contentment under the sea. Not sure you even exist physically. You might just be a manifestation of a need. You complete me.

Never seen the show. I am too busy analyzing Bradley's posts. To some he speaks in riddles but I tell you he is a present day Nostradamus. I would not be surprised if sometime in the future scientists discover the cure for cancer hidden in his words.

I'm with you Rich. I gotta meet this guy (if he is a guy). I'd even bring the chicken. I think that WF should start a new column called Dear Bradley. It would be a take off of Dear Abby.

Nobody deserves it more.

Bradley I sure hope you are not taking this the wrong way. We are sincere. In all my years on the internet I have never had so many people ask me about one single person. You are on the minds of many people. I will even up the stakes and buy you dinner at the Tilted Kilt. Come on man, lets set this up!
