It works better then any detailer I have tried and it is cheap. The finish is incredibly smooth and lasts longer then a standard spray wax.

Member Posts: 2300 Location: Berlin | You do have to work in good on the motor to eliminate any streaks but in the end you have an unbelievably smooth finish that looks better then new.

Member Posts: 300 Location: Lincoln Park, Mi | One of my own recent discoveries. The ultimate spot and stain remover on the hull! Get's even the little non-hardwater stuff Wonderfoam or vinegar mixes leave behind. I took a half cup of Skeeters/Larsen sales carpet spot and stain remover and added it to 2 gallons of water with a shot of dish soap and it got every little spot, streak, and speck off my boat. Great prep before a spring or fall waxing. Before, I'd have to take polishing compound to some of that stuff. This takes it off with a regular wash. Does strip the old wax off too though. Member Posts: 197 | I also agree with the pledge. Been doing it for years. I use 3 different towels. One to wipe it off after you spray it on. Then use the second to do over again and the third to really shine it nice. My wife likes how nice my garage smells after I'm done. Win Win for me.

![]() Member Posts: 2680 Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Best way I found is not remove the plastic shield that covers the screen they come with when new. They seem to clean up better/easier then the screen itself. Otherwise, I haven't found anything that does not scratch, smear or tarnish the screen. ![]() Edited by walleye express 8/17/2011 8:39 AM

Not sure Dan, I have only heard about the lemon scent so that is what I use. The three towel deal is the way to go!

Member Posts: 2300 Location: Berlin | Urine will remove those nasty smudges. You might have to play with your diet to get the right mix but it is well worth the effort! I would try the vinnegar/water first :D

Member Posts: 197 | For that special urine formula eat asparagus, 1/4 lb is good. Then drink 4 oz Korbel Brandy, chase that down with 12 oz of budwieser. Wait 1 hour and your ready to clean. I'm going to see how it works on Dales boat.

I've found those streaks are caused by overspray from waxes, polishes, and protectants. So where does one buy deionized water and microfiber cloth Jim? My new HDS5X Lowrance seemed to come with the streaks right from the plant. And my type "A" cleaning/everything in it's place personality would not leave well enough alone and I made it worse. ![]()
