My partner Pat Schuette and I are currently talking with the managers at Hooters to arrange a walleye fishing seminar in March. Just wondering if there would be anyone intersted in coming to this? It would be on a Monday night, as they want to pick a slow night with the least impact on their normal clientel.

More importantly, would we be able to keep your attention for more than a minute???

I'd be there!

Actually, it isn't a bad family atmosphere at all, been in many where kids were with parents. Not any different from hitting a beach in the summer, in fact, the beach is BETTER! (Or worse, depending on one's point of view)

Family atmosphere.....I was there last night talking to the manager about doing the seminar and I can say that there were more families in there than anything else. There was a concert last night (Rascal Flatts) in Green Bay and Hooters was packed. So, if you have a preconceived idea of what Hooters is about maybe you should venture in there once and get a better look.

I agree Jerry, not defending any business, but it is not the playboy mansion we are referring to FrankP. The girls at the mall dress more revealing than the hooters girls.

I might be wrong on this one, but you might get more guys there if you DON'T change their preception of what the place is like.

I'm leaving to come to Green Bay in about 15 minutes. I'll try to stop in and confirm what you are telling us! LOL

So when you said "More importantly, would we be able to keep your attention for more than a minute???" you were simply refering to you poor dance skills and not the Hooters staff?

Warrranted or not, Hooters has a reputation of being somewhat less than family orientated.

Appealing to a bunch of fishermen and the debate is weather a hooters is an acceptable place to have a fishing seminar?!?!?!?!?

next thing ya know they'll be taking away the beer.

I'd be happy to hear what Jerry and Pat have to say about GB.

Stacker, road trip? I'm in.

Am I the only one or do others get tired of the "being politically correct crowd" mentality????????? Please do not get me wrong, I am sensitive to many issues and always try to portray and demonstrate family values. I'm always aware that I am also representing my sponsors..............BUT GEEZ............... when is enough ???????

You guys will have fun and learn a great deal form these two guys, heck, if it wasn't so far and on a Monday night I would be there too..... I can learn from these two individuals also. But I suppose if you had it on a Sunday people would complain about that too!

Thank you Sunshine for the words on "politically correctiveness". You took them right out of my mouth.

Simply stated, if people are interested, please come and listen in. I hope we all can learn something. If you are offended by this place or things I say, I suggest you stay away. Sorry I brought this subject up.

If you have a problem with Hooters, then I will assume you shut off the television after 6 pm or you monitor what is on each channel. Trust me when I say that things on television are much mor revealing then they are at Hooters.

hey jerry,

Don't worry about it. I'm glad you posted the seminar, and will be there whenever it's scheduled to learn some things about walleye fishing. I'll even bring Sue! Looking forward to it, sir.
