Member Posts: 3899 | I was out on Sunday for several hours, learning to handline for most of it. We pretty much stayed out of the way, but did get in some jigging. Felt nice to set thew hook on a couple 20 inchers! Lot's of boats out, and it was really nice, weatherwise. Fish seemed to come in bunches. Nothing for a while, and then all 3 of us would score in a few minutes. Fish we got were at the ottom of the break. We were towards the doo-doo plant, just south, and on the west side.

Lloyd.....if I were you, I'd be inclined to suggest that some of these boys just go pound sand. Board's getting a little to "clubby" for my taste. Cut a new guy a break, eh?

Member Posts: 3899 | Sorry, I didn't notice that. Thanks for setting me straight. Lloyd, you have my apology. Hope you accept it. XXL, as far as cutting a break. When one spams ALOT, one tends to get a bit less of a break. I figure you are probably a friend of Lloyd, and not of Axl. I didn't notice you ever speaking out on his behalf. As far as clubby, yes, I guess you could say that. Lot's of members in the club, too. We don't always see eye to eye, but we also don't all just pound our chest from our very first post to try to spam up more business for ourselves. So, XXL, 832 to you, too. Member Posts: 2393 Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Man, You can just feel the love here. I guess open water did not come fast enough for ALL of us. Shep, what does 832 mean? Is this a military reference? For the record, I thought the exact same thing that you and others thought about the 30 inche reference. THAT was a very easy mistake to make. It takes a big man to acknowledge he was wrong and puts his name to it too.

Member Posts: 3899 | Dennis, How's things? If you need a couple extra rods out for prefishng PWT, let me know. Unlike Tyee, I can get out of work easily! The 832 is code for GPSUYA. Not from the Military, though. Had a whole list that we used, cause we'd get our ears boxed if we swore. hehehe

Member Posts: 54 | Well I just figured with all the people that fish there there would be a seperate forum for it. Anyway me and my boy were up there 3-18 and I thought we did rather well. We tried past the power plant at a couple of spots I know and zilch. We went back up toward the dam and anchored. We ended up with 30 fish to 24". We also caught a 28" northern and a couple of cisco All in all it was a good day. What was especially nice there were maybe 50 boats out all day no zoo!!! ![]()

Member Posts: 1195 Location: Orland Park, IL | GPSUYA,nice! I like it. Still, love GFY. HA! Yep, was thinking about mixin it up in the zoo this weekend. I figure since the Illinois Reever is crawlin with MWC'ers, it might be a bit of crowd out there. Did feesh it once before, with no luck. (Go figure). Been paying close attention though. May drop the reeg in this weekend. Now, I figure it can get ugly out there, but how ugly can it get? Cant be more uglier than the SR damn last week. Definately 10 lbs of crap in a 5 lb bag. Thanks for the teeps! Oops forgot something. Think my 3 ways pullin reegs are worth using up in Depere, or should I stick to casting cranks/jeegs? Edited by M_komo 3/21/2006 12:30 PM

Couldn't be fish from the Fox. Leaves on the trees are green, and the people are in shorts. Aren't you pushing just a bit too much? You really have not offered any real reports, information, or tips. Mostly just pimped your business. And with fish caught elsewhere, at that.

Member Posts: 28 | Dont mean to be pushy, I will give some reports, and tips as I get some fish! I guess its been a long winter, and looking to get out on the water as much as I can! cant stand sitting in the house, when there is open water, and the fish are hitting! If you need any more info, send me an e-mail and I'll be glad to help in any way that I can! Capt. Lloyd

Member Posts: 885 | Tyee, Tell your son to move his hand.. I can't see the double secret bait you got him hooked up with!! I'm hoping I can get my youngest son out this weekend now that he's done with Basketball... I can't believe he actually starting to prefer girls to fishing.... I guess I'll just have to wait till he grows out of it or finds a girlfriend that like to fish! Purple Skeeter

Member Posts: 33 Location: Plymouth WI | I think this board needs to go to a registered users only format. That will keep the chicken sh@@'s from hiding behind some fake names. If you aren't man enough to publicly disagree with someone stay at home with the rest of the children.
