Where are some good fish frys? I want to try some new places. I like Hanks in Menasha.

Member Posts: 3899 | Wendt's is the standard I use to judge all other fish Fry's. Haven't been for several years, but I think it's stil top notch. Oscar's Tavern in Fondy is very good, and Schmitty's Oar House in Taychedah has a good perch and Bluegill combo. The Greenville Station has pretty good all-u-can eat Alaskan Walleye. This is a good topic, as I always like to try new places for fish.

Cedar Springs Golf Course near Manawa. Fantastic fish, an all you can eat fish and chicken special plus other sea food choices AND the BEST rib eye steak I've had, which usually has me ordering a "combo" of some sort. It's a little off the beaten path but worth the trip. http://www.cedarspringsgolfcourse.com for a map and directions I also second Greenville Station

Member Posts: 3899 | OK, I would be up for Friday at Wendt's. We'll use this as a warm up for when Jerry can join in the good eats and fun! Heal quickly, Jerry. Who's in? What time? 6ish? 7? I'm not sure if we can make reservations, or if it's strictly by sign up. I'll call and find out. If it's by sign up, I could get there early, and get us on the list.

Member Posts: 921 Location: Manitowoc, WI | As of right now I am in Shep. Pending I don't get forced to work. The earlier the better for me because I have another commitment to attend back in the Manitowoc area at 9 p.m. Wifey and the kids won't be coming so I am free for the night. What would be the best route for me to take? 151 through Fondy and up 45 or 10 to 41 and around?

moreyes, When I'm 'home' I try to make it to the fish fry at the American Legion in Pine River. But I've got to admit, the fish fry choices in my new home are pretty tempting

Member Posts: 3899 | All right, Let's plan for a night when Jerry is healthy, Shink's wife isn't busy, Horshak doesn't have later plans, and Tyee actually answers on time! hehehe I say three weeks from tonight. If that doesn't work, list your options.
