As far the boat numbers go, they are placed in order of reciept. Until the preferential placement time is past, February 1st, we will not know exact number, you could be one spot off. I send a post card out to one team member 2 weeks before the event reminding them of the meeting with the team number attached. If you have sent a application and wish to check your number after the 1st of february give me a call or check our website at www.fortfremont.com and go to the pure fishing page. It will give you past winners and we will have the list of entrants there are well.

I do not believe what Tyee just posted is correct. Those regulations should not take effect until 2009.

Oops... my bad again...

Per Doc's help on a different thread, it does not appear that the 2 events per month is applicable to the Wolf River as it is considered part of the Winnebago system.

Tyee, Why do you enjoy rubbing everybodies nose in "it"? Are you that much above the rest of us?

Jason, Where is that coming from? and what are you refering to? I made a mistake as the regulation as presented had some changes and without being there to know them I had to breeze through it rather quick! Thanks Brad and Doc for digging into it further.

If your implying that for some reason I am all for this you are sadly mistaken. I am mearly pointing out what the NRB has done regarding the new regulations and what is happening. I'm sorry if you think I am "rubbing your nose" in it. That is not my position at all.

This isn't over yet and you have a chance to contact your legislatures and let them know of your dissatisfaction. If that is how you look at it as I do! Personally I have many disagreements with this and have contacted my legislaturers about them have you? Were you one of the 703 people that attended the meetings or contacted them about YOUR position? If not then go ahead consider it a nose rubbing! because 703 is an aweful number considering the amount of people involved in competative angling!

Good Luck
Tyee

Tyee, you post new tourney regulation info, and a short while later you're already questioning Denny about his permit info. I'd call that rubbing someones nose in it. It would seem as if you were taking great pleasure in the situation. Despite you still being wrong.

Perception.

I will say this. If indeed by 2009 we have regulations regarding the number of tourneys on the river, and quite frankly, it would not surprise me a bit, the Fort Fremont Marine Walleye Classic is the 2nd oldest tournament on the river. I would think That will mean something when the time comes to issue said permits. I will be calling Kendall very soon, today, to discuss with him this years permits.

UPDATES

I spoke with Kendall today and everything is a mimic of last year. so no reason to fret just yet.

Ok, the preferential placement ends on February 1st. Open enrollment will start on monday the 4th. There will be openings. If you have your entry to me before the 4th, mail or drop it off, you will have the first openings in the tournament. Right now it is filling fast and wont last very long.

ALSO, if you have your entry to me before monday the 4th, you will be put in a drawing for 100.00 for no apparent reason. This will double up your entry fee before the boat even hits the water.

I can fax, e-mail, take credit cards by phone. Don't miss out. Just call now and get in.

That's great news Denny. I am happy to see Mack's involved again this year. For those of you who never fished this event, this is one of the best ran tournaments out there. Lots of fun and good times to be had by all. Get your names on the list for an entry form if you haven't already. I for one am looking forward to this event. C'mon Spring!
