I here Gordy has got a great recipe for muskie!! ;-)

just be sure to tenderize it first by giving it a backbreaker across your knee!

Hayward area is a great suggestion. the idea of all being at one resort would be fun.

Green Bay, Hayward and the LaCrosse area all have potential. Lets get these areas other attractions listed from some of you locals especially the Hayward and LaCrosse areas. Lets also list the downsides to each. Then we can get going on a decision. As was said previously, Green Bay in the Fall has great Musky potential. Walleye can be caught also. However, Green Bay would be weather (wind) affected with a chance for adverse conditions. It would also be nice to start this GTG on a Friday afternoon or early evening. This way those that have to travel can actually get a whole day and a half in before having to return home on Sunday. I really hope I can make it to this one.

Chippewa Flowage sounds like a potential location. .........?

Let's hear everyones thoughts for a great 2-day outing........Competition; Social; Facilites, and Prizes.......

The more pictures that everyone sends, Tuffy could create a power point presentation......Maybe Worrall could even MC.........? We could even make it a roasting.......

This could be the time for the release of the new 2008 models.......

Where is Stacker when you need his input.....? Merc-Kid? Lambeau? Horseshak? etc?

Thoughts......

Sign me up, just make sure to give enough advance notice so we can plan. 2 days sounds good, may as well make a weekend of it.

Mid to late September sounds good, after I watch Shep in the MWS Championship would work. Maybe I can luck out and join him. North is a great idea, calm water, no wind, and lots of bear!

I would love something over on the Chip. September is not so good for me, but it will be nearly impossible to make it work for everyone.

If we went to the chip we could probably talk the dwarf errrr I mean Dorazio into giving us some inside info.

Tuff Gear for prices would be sweet.

Steve, I've been here all along. Read my prior posts on Green Bay. Lacrosse area or the Chip sounds good also. As I said in my last post, Friday afternoon til Sunday whenever you want to leave sounds real good. I just hope it fits into my schedule. Anytime in the fall sounds good to me. No outage at work this Fall. Next year we have long hours in the Spring and Fall so I hope I can make this one. Zach mentioned Pepin would be good also. He's the closest so he'll have to do all the leg work. He! He!

Ya know, I have been dwelling on this and I think august would be a much better time. If ya wait till sept. it gets colder. If ya wait the kids go back to school and football starts. If ya wait till sept. the sitting around a campfire is weather dependant. More chances for rain and the like. It would also be nice to take a day or two off work and make a long weekend out of it in enjoyable conditions. Just thoughts.

another vote for the Chip.
i've never been, and would like to go and fish up there.
i have fished some other area lakes, so might hop a bit too.
early-mid august would be best for me.

Well I would like to think I for sure could be there. I think that would be great, but the ol' college budget may not like it but I think I can make it happen. Just would have to pick up a few more hours in the September if that is the time.

I would be totally up for the Chip, but I think Petenwell would be great too! Or even the Minocqua/Manitowish Chain. By that time things will be settled down a bit seeing it's past Labor Day. But it really doesn't matter to me.

Tuffy gear would be great prizes, especially seeing I don't have any yet. hehe

C'mon Zach chime in. You mentioned Lake Pepin area at the tourney last week. Let's here some pros and/or cons. I know it would be nice to be able to have all the boats in the water cruisin at the same time. However, since Stacker has more money than I do and his boat is virtually paid off maybe I'll just tag along in his boat. What do ya think Denny? Got room for a poor Polish family in your boat? hehehe!

Sounds great, make sure Steve brings his camera to giet a picture of all the Tuffy's out there. I agree with Stacker on the time frame got get it in before the ducks fly.

How about Lake Dubay?

I would pick some dates and set up a poll, see what works the best. It will not fit in everyones schedule. Maybe the same with destinations?

I guess just watch out for some of tournements for sure schedule conlict.

First week of August is the MWS on Bago, the rest is open next to SWC Battle on the bay is August 12th. Not a "have to" but, it is my birthday and I was going to fish it with my brother. Out of his 2060 of course. But, a weekend like that would top the whole thing off. Having that many Tuffys together would be an awesome sight. Is the Miss that great to fish? I have never been there myself. If Zach does all the work, then it has t be! Maybe then I can show him a little more Green Bay.

As of right now, since we are looking at dates, the weekend of August 17-19 is doable for me and my family.

as far as a poor polish family hitching a ride, hmmmmm....... I will have to find one first. hehehehe

I like the idea of the chip. Is there walleyes in them thar waters? Maybe we could have a fish fry as well.

Hahaha I'll never forget that one, "prefishing" at that bar on the corner 7am with a bunch of "drowned rats" that camped the night before.
