There are a couple AUgust weekends open for me. As mentioned, the MWS the first weekend, and the SWC on the Bay. But I wasn't sure on thast anyway. I would attend Tuffy outing before that one, for sure.

Zach? What does August look like for you? Gordy? Everybody else?

The weekend of September 22nd in the Hayward area works for me. There's a muskie tourney here in MN on Cass/Leech that weekend but I'm not fishing that one so I can pack up and shoot to the Chip.

Tuffy gear would be nice for prizes. Make it an annual outing with some friendly competition and have a traveling "Tuffy Trophy".

Ok! So September and October seem to be out. Are we going to drop this event or are we going to try for August? Just wondering.

Bottom line is that no matter what weekend you choose you will not be able to accomadate everyone. I think someone should pick a weekend in August and go with it. It will be more of a fun event and get together any way as families will be involved. Once you pick the weekend then we can work on the other things ie door prizes or what ever everyone wants to do.

Petenwell has been brought up as a central location has great camping things to do for the kids. How would August 18th sound? We still should have good weather and the kids will still be out of school. Big thing will be camp grounds and how many sites to reserve. Does anyone have suggestions there?

I agree, pick a date and go with it. It will be pretty much impossible to accomodate everyone, especially the first year. Have it once, then see how it goes and then firm up a date for the next year well in advance. That way people will be able to schedule it well in advance for next year.

I personally like Petenwell also. It's a good central location, with Stevens Point not to far, and or Wausau not overally far either. Lot of things to do in central Wisconsin. But I personally am game for anywhere in Wisconsin. But the way the gas prices are looking for this summer,I think a location like Petenwell, a central location might be good so that it can accomodate everyone seeing majority of guys are in Wisconsin I think.

As for prizes, prizes are the least of my worries. I would rather just go and have fun and just to see all the Tuffy's together would be pretty neat. That to me would be worth coming.

hey this sounds like a good time ! i'm all for it ! I need a good reason to go up north and fish in the fall. perhaps we could vote on what location. There are some really nice lakes by land o lakes area, turtle flambuea is a beautiful area but really tuff to fish in fall due to lower water. maybe a T/A place near by for the entertainment

I feel we should leave it all up to Steve, Steve, and Zach. Yes, not every weekend will work for everyone. I do agree with finding a joint place up north that has multi-speceis for the whole group. Pick a weekend and "Let's get it on" Bringing the significant others is a definate to me. Without them, or at least in my case, this all is not possible. A long weekend at a lodge where we can all stay and have a good time fishing and socializing would be a bonus. Let's get a load of Tuffys on a body of water and open invitations to anyone interested to join us for a ride or a day of fishing. One ride and we can have many more for next years outing. So Zach and Steve's, let us know. Plan it, lodge it, let us know where to call for our rooms and let's make this an annual event to be remembered for years to come.

The Tuffy Boats get Together will take place September 21, 22, and 23 in Hayward Wisconsin. Many more details will be forthcoming in the next few days. Look at cool new Tuffy products, enter Contests, fish an Owners Tournament for 'Eyes and Muskies, and much more.

Details soon!!

Wash and wax your boat, there will be Sharp Angler awards, too.

I have only been up there a few times, is there going to be a resort for a base camp?

What lake or lakes are we going to go on?

I am asuming significant others are welcome? She does finance my hobby. Let us know where to sign up. Even if she has to stay back and drink, it will be more entertainment when we get back.

Glad I happened along this thread...

I will definitely have it on the list for next year. Right now, for this year, we are scheduled to be in Colorado that week. If something changes, you can bet that the Mrs and I will be there.

Hope it all goes well for you guys.

Bendall, you owe me at least one beer.

Scott
