Subject: FLW Walleye Tour Championship Begins 9/27

Location: Rhinelander
Cleveland Ohio will welcome the FLW Walleye Tour Championship this week under what appears to be almost perfect weather conditions for the Big lake for three of the four day's competition.

Lake Erie can really rock if the winds pick up from the North or Northeast. Any time a major event is held on one of the Great Lakes, there are concerns about the winds, and the winds of late September can be unpredictable.

The FLW Tour Championship Qualifiers will, according to the Weather Underground Website, find some rain and winds out of the North/North East at just 5 to 8 MPH Thursday, but a T Storm could mix things up.

Friday, the winds are to be West moving to North during the day at 5 to 10 MPH. Skies are forecast to be partly cloudy with temps in the 60's.

Saturday could be a bit rough but not unmanageable with East to Northeast winds up to just under 10MPH. Sunny skies and temps hitting 70 degrees should make for a comfortable day on the water.

Sunday looks about the same as Saturday for temps and skies, with the wind switching to South/Southeast at less than 10.

Keep in mind the weather can be a bit fickle this time of the year, so WalleyeFIRST will bring you at least three updates every day during the event.

Watch for a new morning feature here on WalleyeFIRST during the last two days of the FLW Championship.
