We will be in Fremont on the Wolf River during the second week in October.
Was just wondering how the fishing is on the river now? How about white bass and walleye? Any tips appreciated.

You should be able to find plenty of white bass and crappie by that time. Northern pike have been active too. Walleye should be starting to pick up but where the best groups of fish will be is anyone's guess. There's about 30 miles of fishable river from Fremont and they could show up in SOME of it or all over the place. Water levels and temperature will play the most significant role in what is biting. The lower end of the system is best for white bass and walleye, crappie are biting in the trees all over the river.
Good Luck
