I wouldn't say a price and give him more than what he was thinking, however, throw a low ball price and he can build the price up if he chooses. I would imagine that unit is GPS/sonar combo? If so, that was $1800-$2000 unit brand new. However, it's gotta be 4 to 6 years old, I would think anywhere from $700 to maybe even a $1000. Anymore than that, you'd be better off buying a new and getting all the new updates and knowing you have the newest thing on the market. That's me though.

Member Posts: 3899 | Could be as little as 1 or 2 years old. The 112 just came out this year, and most not until after May. Lowarance shipped the new modles very late this year. Boatersworld was selling the X111 for $1299 brand new. That would be a high number to pay for a used unit.

Member Posts: 1040 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Shep, what I'm meaning is, the Lowrance X-110 has been on the market a minimum of at least since 2004 maybe even 2003. It can be 1 or 2 years old, however, it's considered old technology. In my opinion, it can be 2 years or it can be 4 years old, it's still worth the same. What I'm saying is, why would someone pay X amount for a 2 year old unit, when they can buy a 4 year old unit that hasn't changed a bit for less? In my opinion, a 110 is a 110, it's not a 111 or a 112, those are different units and are newer. I believe they also discontinued the 110 when the 111 came out in 2005 I believe. I also said a price from anywhere from $700-1000, that is a $300 range difference. However, I also stated, do some homework on what there going for, so seeing you can buy a x111 for $1299, I would say hearing what an x111 is going for, I would think $500-800 would be pretty reasonable imho. Member Posts: 238 | Thanks guys...I will keep that in mind, and I would seriously imagine that EBAY prices would be more than that MercKid...He gave me the option of waiting until spring, so.....I have lots of time! Thanks again

Member Posts: 3899 | The 110 is the same as the 111 without the hard drive and built in maps, so it was not discontinued when the 111 came out. The 112 replaces the 110, the 113 replaces the 111. I'd pay $1299 for a 111 new as opposed to $2300 for a 113. If the unit was only 1 year old, I could see paying up to $1000. They are awesome units.
