"December 16th. Little Bay de Noc fishing update,"

well with ice conditions improving daily it's all about getting set and starting to locate some fish!
Ice thickness for the most part in the upper Bay north of Kipling Launch and a good solid 6 to 8 inches and more.
South of the narrows off Gladstone Yacht Harbor 6 inches and less.
ATV, snow-sled and foot travel for right now.
Spending some time on the ice yesterday afternoon/evening although not marking a lot of fish catching a nice 19 inch fish.
Jigging Rapala in about 25 feet of water, jigging shallower throughout a number of holes as well.
Keep in touch, here's a photo of Becky with a nice eating size fish.
