Checked out both launches yesterday. The DePere parks department was there " trying" to clear the Fair grounds launch. No luck, too much ice on the launch and the were starting to pull up some of the cement pads if they tried harder. So it will take some more thawing. There is about 100 yards of ice from shore to open water.
At the Fox Point launch there is tons of snow in the lot and lots of ice in the launch area. A lot of work will be needed to make this launch usable. About 30 yards of ice in front of the launch.
I don't know about the Yacht club launch. But, as of yesterday ice was blocking the river at Fort Howard. And there is a lot of ice still on the edge of the river.
Good luck and see you on the river. Capt. Doug

PS, there is over 30 inches of ice on the bay, no soft water there soon.
