Has any used this to charge their boat batteries while towing? Is it easy to hook up does it work as fast as they claim?

I have it on my 05 Lund Explorer (3 batteries) and love it. Works just like they say, for the first year and a half, I had to keep the boat stored in a storage unit without electricity, so it was never plugged into the onboard charger, and the batteries were always topped off and at 100% ready to go.
