"April 2nd. and "open-water?""

After taking a ride the other day and finally seeing the open-waters of the Bay. Although off the Escanaba Harbor area and south really neat look at the Bay again.
Recalling last year's ice out on April 3rd. it definitely will be some days before we do see that open-water but knowing its not far away. Now's the time to start and get our equipment checked out and planning on the new upcoming season.
