The weather is absolutely perfect in Bay City for fishing walleyes on Saginaw Bay, and the Pros are fired up and ready to go. The bite has been incredible, with 30 to 50 fish days not out of the question; but the size distribution has been from the 15" legal to about 21" average. According to every single Pro we talked to, the key here will be the harder to find 'kicker' fish, with at least one a day required to be in the running. Here's the forecast for the Bay area today during tournament hours

Partly sunny through mid morning...then becoming mostly sunny. Highs 66 to 70. Light and variable winds...becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph.

Light showers likely. Lows 48 to 52. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph...turning to west late. Chance of rain 60 percent chance rain

Partly sunny during the morning. Mostly cloudy during the afternoon. Breezy. Scattered showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Highs 62 to 66. West winds 10 to 20 mph...with gusts to 30 mph...increasing to 15 to 25 mph...with gusts to 40 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Not so perfect, but the Pros tell us the walleyes are literally everywhere, so fishing will be good no matter.
