...on my 55PD. The only place to mount this thing is behind the skeg. It is a large skeg, leads up to the front/tip of cone. Will the wake turbulance from skeg affect the return on the 520c drastically? There is really no other place to mount this thing, short of getting another transducer and mounting it to the skeg. Also, with this 55PD, there is that locking collar, that needs to be released and slid towards the head to deploy motor. How should i tether the tramsducer cable to the shaft? Ty-wraps/cable ties will prevent collar from moving. Thanks.
