This was sent to me by an aquatic education friend of mine...it is a wonderful idea!!!!

When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to
this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of
how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed so
much would get.

A Great Idea!!!

When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please
include the following:

A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue,NW
Washington , D.C. 20307-5001

This is a fantastic idea, but unfortunately, according to Snopes.com, the post office will not accept any mail addressed to "A Recovering American Soldier."

Instead, use the following address:
Holiday Mail for Heroes
PO Box 5456
Capitol Heights, MD 20791-5456

This program is sponsored by the Red Cross, and will provide delivery to our servicemen at home and abroad.

Also, please consider checking out the link below if you would like to make a donation of a military phone or gift card so that a soldier's holiday might be a little better.

Thanks!

Great work Mike.

I didn't bother to check it on Snopes since it came from a good source and wasn't a scam.

Let's send some cheer their way this year.
