| Any of you folks put on youth fishing events?
I'd like to do a remote from one of your events in 2009.
If you're in Northern IL The Fishing Fanatics radio show may be able to come out promote the event live.
We did one from Shabbona Lake in DeKalb County IL a few years back at a kids event, it was a blast.

Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin | I have been doing Youth Fishing Clinics for the past 4 years. The last two Youth fishing clinics have been for the Mentoring agencies of the Fox Valley Area. Agencies that attend have been Big Brothers Big Sisters of Appleton and Green Bay, PAL's of Outagamie and Best Friends of Neenah Menasha. Ussually I have had 75 to 100 youths attending the event. During the event dinner is served, seminars and fishing tournament. The last two Youth Fishing Clinics have been done in the month of May. I have worked with the DNR on the last two Youth Fishing Clinics. Two years ago each youth went home with a fishing combo and last year each youth went home with a tackle box full of stuff. My fingers are crossed that I will be able to come up with funds for this year's event with the way the economy is.
