| I don't feel like driving all over to find them, so does anybody know of a bait shop in the fox valley that has shiners right now. I'm looking at fishing the Wolf River tomorrow and would like to have some.
Thanks |

Location: Oshkosh | There is a small "mom and pop" bait shop just north of Kaukauna on Hwy 96 (I think) on the west side of the road. They have absolutely AWESOME shiners. After discovering them I will make the trip there everytime to get minnows rather than buy them locally.

Location: Appleton wi | Dave's bait does not have milwaukee shiners. I am being told there is a ban on alll milwaukee shiners this year per DNR. I dont understand this we used them all winter .I guess the new rule took effect about march 31. |

Location: Menasha, WI | They haven't been banned but emerald shiners are included under the Federal VHS regs implemented last fall. There is stricter rules for moving the minnows across state borders and that has affected supply and costs. http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2008/pdf/E8-20852.pdf |
