Member Posts: 1040 Location: Stevens Point, WI | One ounce separates first place leader Brian Brosdahl from Chevy Pro Tom Keenan in what will be a true shootout this afternoon. Both anglers said during their morning interviews the key is catching their big fish. Both Brosdahl and Keenan said the bite yesterday was tough and they had to scrounge a little to put a good weight in the box. Brosdahl got his two big fish yesterday before noon leaving him only a few hours to get the right 'unders' to finish out his catch. Keenan on the other hand has struggled getting any of the big bites before noon. He said out of his five big fish he's put in the Frabill for this event, only one has come before noon. Toyota Trucks Walleye Rewards winner Chris Gilman is sitting in third place and said that considering his big catch from yesterday, he's really going to swing for the fence today. He emphasized how important it will be to have those two big fish if he's going to make a run at the top spot. Conditions for today look absolutely perfect with an air temp of 68 at noon and winds increasing to 14mph out of the WSW around noon. Watch for images, video, and more this morning. Member Posts: 1040 Location: Stevens Point, WI | The one once that separated Brian Brosdahl and Tom Keenan this morning going out on day four didn't seem to matter today. Dan Stier came to the scales with two monster fish that would not be topped by Brosdahl or Keenan. Stier, working between rip jigging and rigging, he was able to boat those two very important big fish weighing 16.31lb. catch, the largest bag on day four. Brosdahl told WalleyeFIRST after the weigh-in that he hadn't been on Leech Lake this year without boating at least one of those 'over' fish and was disappointed he wasn't able to do so today. Brosdahl ended day four with his lowest weight of the tournament, weighing in 5.31 lbs. and finishing in third place Chevy Pro and day one and two leader Tom Keenan was also disappointed in his day four performance. He told WalleyeFIRST that his 'under' fish were the right ones, but he just couldn't seem to put a big fish in the boat. Like Brosdahl, Keenan also brought his lightest bag of the event to the scales today, weighing in 7.69 lbs. earning him second place. Congratulations to Chris Gilman for his sixth place finish claiming the $1300 for the highest placing Toyota Truck owner in the Toyota Trucks Walleye Angler Rewards Program.
