Got a few ladybugs and box elder bugs, but not bad at all. Hopefully the freezing overnights coming up will help even more. You guys seeing the same?

Living by the lake = lots of lake flies = lots of spiders. Big spiders.

But other than that I'd have to agree with you; there were fewer mosquitoes and the bugs were kind to my garden.

Bugs were way down here also. Haven't seen a single lady bug this year. Saw the first elder bug yesterday. Mosquitos were almost non-existent all year. I guess there's a positive side to this crappy weather this year.

Cass Lake this weekend at a Hartman tourney, this May Fly didn't get the memo...26 degrees and snow, and this thing just popped up.

I have a big Box Elder tree directly in front of my house. The front side of my house has been crawling with Box Elder Bugs, the ground actually looked red and like it was crawling. I haven't seen much for the Asian Beetles though.

Wow, those box elder are harsh. I got such a tree, but we keep those buggers in check. Best stuf around, 1 part joy citrus dish soap, and 20 parts water in a spray bottle. Give it to the kid and let him start spraying. Kids like that stuff and they cant get hurt.
