| Has anybody run this rig in the past? Just wondering if anybody had any trouble with it. It has a 225 Merc EFI on the back. I know it will take some gas but other than that I understand they are pretty good motors. If anybody has any experience with this rig I would love to here from you. Thanks |

| I fish out of this boat... mine is a 2025 SE. I have an 04' Johnson 225 on it. I bought it used in 2000, it's been a great boat. The only draw back is the bow is heavy and does seem to "plow" water. I'm sure a jack plate would fix that real fast. Other then that I'm fishing from it again this year.. it's paid for, no problems what so ever and it floats. |

| I owned several and sold many, many.
They run great and there have been more Pros and guides running around in 2025s than about anything else out there.
They are not bow heavy. They have the IPS hull, which is known to run great.
It sounds like MT-1 probably has a prop problem and is not getting good bow lift.
Either he has too much pitch or has an aluminum prop...but wfor whatever reason is not getting good lift.
They are laid out really well for fishing and have lots of storage. |
