Location: Winneconne | was pier fishing lake winneconne last weekend and caught a dandy perch..........upon lifting it up, i noticed this was not an ordinary perch, it looked like a perch, shape and stripe wise, but the fish was a silvery white!!!!!!!!! any ideas what was wrong with it? or right with it for that matter??? no green at all, silvery white skin and black stripes.....wish i woulda snapped a pic, was decent in size as well, 11" in length |

Wannagopro, sorry to jack your thread I just could not resist. I have seen all sorts of weird variations in colors of certain fish. I have not seen one like this perch you mentioned though. |

Location: Elgin, Illinois | While we are talking "strange" olors.... Caught some perch in the Peshtigo iver that were blue... Seems that that is also a "sometimes" color for perch... |
