Member Posts: 12 | Hello All, It finally hit the water this weekend... Tuffy X-190 200 Opti Blue Jewel/Gun Metal Duel Axel I would like to thank Mike and all the crew at Boulder Marine. What a great dealership! Also, TJ, thanks for taking me out in the boat to get the feel of the boat and motor. Badgerpat1

Member Posts: 11 Location: Akron Ohio | What great pictures of a terriffic boat! My new 1700 should be arriving soon and these pictures you guys put up are driving me crazy. One tip for you: I just attended a sonar seminar by Bruce "Dr. Sonar" Samson. He suggested to owners of larger sonar units bow-mounted on ram mounts, such as yours, to bend them down while running. Two ram mounts will hold them in position, but one mount won't,. Then when you get to your destination just bend them back up in viewing position.

Member Posts: 12 | I have only had the opportunity to run the boat last weekend. The ram mount seemed very solid... but I'll keep checking it out as I run it more often and in rougher conditions. I sure wouldn't want anything to happen to the bow unit. Badgerpat1

Member Posts: 12 | Horseshoe... I do leave the front unit "on the deck" in it's mount. Much more secure. Big waves do tend to move it in the down direction. Good tip. Pat
