The guys who did the job did do one fine job on the transom IMO pouring the transom full of the new Sea Star Resin instead of playwood and fiberglass, but they left my freshly painted deck looking like crap from both pulling the motors and with their greesy work shoes. Also tore both of my bench seats while removing both motors. I don't blame them for that, I was told I should remove them, but they were going in the junk after this season anyways. And the Sea Star Resin or something in their shop made the non-skid paint I had on my boat very sticky to both cloths and the touch. But with the fishing being good on the Saginaw Bay early on, I was going to wait till fall to re-paint the deck. But now with this Funk the fishing action is in, I decided to buy and mount 2 new Wise pedistal seats and get the paint job done now. Just finished the job at 1:30pm this afternoon and just need a few more touches here and there where the paints a little thin, but she's not looking to bad right now. 4 BEFORE/4 AFTER PICTURES. WoW! is that a fish catching rig or what? what a cool rig! in the modern day of the brand spanking new big money riggs i am learning more and more to apreciate the old gems found in service on the water. a buddy of mine is in the middle of makeing a deal on a new 621 with the big 300 on it as we speak. this old girl of yours express kinda turns my crank being that im 20 miles from baggo and 20 miles from lake michigan and 45 miles from the bay of green bay. salmon slamming to perch that thing looks like it will keep you dry and happy and the household fed well! ![]() | |||
