I'm looking into the possibility of buying a used/well kept Minn Kota Vantage. I've decided to stay away from the MK engine mount system. If someone has one they're looking to sell email me at [email protected] so we can work out a deal.

Reading about the failures, specifically the mounts breaking and motors failing. I am not a big fan of drilling holes in my motor either. I already have a Terrova with I-Pilot so I probably can get away without it but I like the idea of being able to backtroll if needed, so I'm goin with the Vantage if I find one.
