Location: Menasha, WI | The FLW has an event scheduled on GB in July. Maybe AIM didn't want to have venue overlap between the circuits? |

| I cannot say for sure but i believe AIM went elsewhere because the city of green bay did nothing to promote the event the last two years compared to other host sites. |

| You are correct Grouse, Green Bay did nothing to promote the AIM event last year. They were supposed to have a food stand, refreshments at the weigh in sight and nothing ever showed up. The city never advertised that there was a tournament. Had several locals come up to us at the landing in the mornings wondering what was going on. |

| I heard the same about Green Bay last year. The city did nothing to promote the tournament which was very unfortunate. There were no signs until you were at the landing and only TV coverage once the tournament was underway.
I will be interested to see how Oconto will handle such a large tournament this summer also. |

| Did the organizers of AIM do anything to help improve participation in the 2011 season or do you think it will be the same 50 to 60 boats in each event. MJT |

| I fished the AIM event in Green Bay last year and I agree, it seemed like the city did not want us there. They did not even have the bathrooms unlocked at the boat ramp for the morning launch. I have fished a few smaller tournaments out of Green Bay (MWS, Sheboygan Walleye Club, etc.) and this is the first time I have been locked out of the bathrooms.
What I don't understand is, if the city is going to invest $25k, or any any amount of money, why not promote the event, make the anglers feel welcome so that they return, etc. |

| What is it? |

Location: Rhinelander | I'm sure a release is n the way soon. Brimley is tossing in enough to make the payout very impressive as well, so as I said, stand by. |

| It was informally announced at the NPAA Meeting expect official press release soon. But here is the plan..Winning with a lund boat you will receive $5K each event and $10K for angler of the year. Very nice incentive from Lund. Qualifications such as model year or original owner type stuff I do not know so we will have to wait for the press release.
