Location: Freedom, WI | Took a detour home from the cabin over the weekend and ended up on Little Bay de Noc in search of some Walleyes. The fish didn't disappoint, as I caught 2 and lost another in just a few hours of fishing in the middle of the day. Fish were caught on the Green Glow Tiger #7 Jigging Rapala in 30 fow north of Kipling along the east break. Marked several other fish, just tough to get them to commit to biting. I also had some friends on the ice up there all weekend and they managed a total of 15 Walleyes with 3 over 27" and 6 bonus jumbo Perch. The biggest Perch went 14.5" and was an absolute slob! The fish went 2lbs. easy! Wish I would've took a quick picture of it! Anyways had a blast up there and plan on fishing it for a full weekend yet this winter, this weekend is Sturgeon spearing though!

Location: Freedom, WI | Thanks for checking out my blog, I am just getting the hang of how much I can do with it! As for the flasher, my father was nice enough to let me use his for the time being. Still waiting for the insurance money to buy a new one! |
