Do you have a payout schedule if there was a full field?

I think you would be better off filling this by letting people sign up one tourny at a time. Walleye weekend and otterstreet are not even filled.

Hi guys, I will list the payouts below and answer any other questions you may have. It's busy season now so bear with me and I will try to respond as fast as I can. You can also send me an email if there is a question you don't want to post on this thread. [email protected].

I would also like to answer some things that have came up so everyone can view them.

1: No, you do not have to have a Triton boat to fish these tournaments. Every brand of boat is welcome and any motor brand as well. You can fish out of a 15 foot aluminum boat and you'll fit right in!

2: My goal for this tournament series is to have 65 boats fish all 4 tournaments. This would make things easier on myself and staff. Teams have until April 14th to enter all 4 tournaments. April 15th any team that wants to fish just one event is able to send in for that particular date. All tournaments will fill on first come basis!

3: You may fish with a different partner for every tournament if you want even if you are fishing all 4 tournaments. Each partner will need to be a member.

4: The payout if you are fishing all 4 tournaments is 90% based on a full field of 65 boats including the finals. Mercury Marine, Triton boats and The Boat Doc have additional contingency prizes that amount to over 150% payback!

5: If we wouldn't fill a tournament and teams enter last minute with a late fee, the $50 we get from each late fee team will go towards the series finals!

The Boat Doc Walleye Invitational Payout
(Based on a full field of 65 boats and $150 entry fee)

1st $2500
2nd $1200
3rd $900
4th $700

6th $450
7th $350
8th $300
9th $250
10th $200
11th $150
12th $150
13th $150

SERIES FINALS
1st $4000 coupon for a new Triton boat from The Boat Doc
2nd $1000
3rd $800
4th $700
5th $500
6th $300
7th $200

Superdave, unsure of what your question is but I'm assuming you don't understand how it would be easier for us to cater to 65 teams fishing all 4 events. Since there are no rules meetings and teams check in the morning of the tournament it would be great if I knew all 65 teams that were fishing each tournament and could communicate via email with all of them. This way everyone will know what is going on, we could have all boat numbers figured out, names on weigh board and not have to deal with taking money the morning of the tournament. In all reality this is unlikely to happen this year and I understand that a lot of teams can't fish all 4 due to conflicting dates but I'm hoping next year will be different. I hope this answers your question.

"Just a suggestion" Having no rules meeting and no morning check in is fine. If you would have put a dead line on the tuesday before the tourny you still should be able to have everything set up before the tourny comunicating via email.

Anyone looking for a partner for the May 15th tourney? I sold my boat, so I'm a seat filler til I get a new one.

Your boat, you run the show, I'm just there to catch fish. I'll bring my own gear, pay half the expenses, and keep my mouth shut. I just want to fish. 920-379-7321 or message me here.

Well any word on how the first tournament went? How many boats fished in those tough conditions and what was the winning weight?

The first tournament for The Boat Doc Walleye Invitational was a challenging one to say the least. 28 teams braved the cold and windy day.

The team of Jim Feucht and Thomas Bornheimer took the honors with a five fish limit weighing 14.3lbs winning them $1300. Second place went to Rob Teske and Rich Stadler with a five fish limit weighing 10.75lbs winning them $650. Third place went to Joe Schneider and Randy Hofmaier with a five fish limit weighing 10.37lbs winning them $550, they also had big fish with a 3.86lbr winning $270.

15 teams caught fish and were a total of 56 fish registered. We only had 2 dead fish out of those 56 which is absolutely remarkable considering the conditions.

The winning strategy of the top three teams was slip bobbers and jigging. From the response we received if you had no bobbers you had no fish.

The next tournament for The Boat Doc Walleye invitational is May 29th. Late fee's will start on May 24th. You are able to sign up the morning of the tournament if you choose. Boat check is from 5:30-6:30am and take off at 7am. Tournament ends at 3 pm. All tournaments are out of Millers Bay in Oshkosh and the entire system is open to fish.

More information and entry forms are available at www.theboatdoc.com bottom left corner of first page.
