i have a 1760 osprey with 150 merc. and i have a problem with coming off plane at around 20 mph or so. graphing at high speeds is pretty difficult. also in rougher water i'd like to slow down a bit more sometimes but pushing water when nose comes up is hard on motor and gas mileage. would a hydrofoil be the answer or repropping be the answer. my prop is stock with what came on the merc. and i hear that a 21 tempest is the prop for this settup. i guess whatever would be the cheapest but better route to go? top end runs great with no porposing action and hole shots are good also.
