| What does everyone feed there crawlers? Would like to plump crawlers up, there getting pretty skinny after having them for a month. They make commercial worm food, but everytime i use it, it seems to kill all my crawlers. I think it molds and becomes toxic. What about corn starch? thanks |

| Potato peels work real well for food. Moisture in your worm bedding is key to plump crawlers.

| Chicken Starter Feed is the best I have found. Still using the same crawlers I picked in May...they have even reproduced inside my worm tote. |

| Not talking chicken soup....high protein chicken feed. They sell at Fleet Farm or a feed mill. I think it comes in 50lb bags, so I get a small container full from my sister who raises chickens. |
