Member Posts: 181 Location: Manawa Wiscowsin | Just my luck! On disability all winter with no ice and back to work just in time for open water. I have Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays open most of the time. I'd chip in for gas etc.

Member Posts: 3899 | If I wasn't preoccuppied with Turkey scouting this weekend, I'd take you up on that offer Jerry. Leaving at noon for Adams, painting a kitchen wall, and then up to Point area to scout a couple parcels for Toms. Good luck. Please report your successes. Edited by Shep 4/5/2012 7:51 AM

Member Posts: 2567 Location: Manitowoc, WI | My son had to work this afternoon so we went bluegill fishing instead. The gills are still in the shallows of Bago but the 8-9" gills I had over the last two weeks shrunk to many 5-6"ers. Needless to say we had a great time but nothing for the fryer.

Member Posts: 3899 | Turkey scouting was eventful. Nearly every spot I went to had Tom's strutting, including one near my Adams house with 6 nice Tom's. Farmer was nice, and welcomed me to bring Lauren on Saturday. Then 6:30AM yesterday morning, had a Tom close to the house. Got my call, and brought him right into my backyard! When I knew he was coming, I stopped calling, and watched out the window. He stuck around for 15 minutes, looking for that hen! All I need to do now, is put some to roost on Tuesday night, and be ready Wednesday morning. Gobble, Gobble, Gobble........BOOM!
