Well, the weather finally gave us a break and we all enjoyed a beautiful day on the water. Randy and I would like to thank everyone for joining us and for making the event so much fun. A thanks also goes out to Jimmy Seas for handling the logistics of getting that many people and vehicles in for the weigh-in. Our door prize sponsors came through again for us this year. Skipper's Choice Marine, located about five building north of Jimmy Seas provided us with an outboard winterization, some rod holders and some grab bags of goodies. Jim Pyle, through his Quantum sponsorship, provided us with some trolling rods and rod/reel combos.

Not sure if moving the tournament to the weekend after Mother's Day made the difference in the weather or if we were just due, but we will schedule it the same again next year...the Saturday after Mother's Day.

I have attached the final results for the tournament (it's a 4 page document, so scroll down once you open it to see all the teams).

Karl and I want to thank everyone who participated in the event this year. In looking back there are two things that stand out to me. First, I really enjoyed fishing with my son this year. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and he gets as pumped up as I do when we hook into a fish. Second, my favorite part of the whole tournament is seeing all the familiar faces in the morning, saying hello, and welcoming them back for another year. That never gets old to me. Seeing guys like Rick Erickson, Dick Stoychoff and his brother, Gary Jacobson, all the Sheboygan Walleye Club members (minus the Gassers) this year, and all my old fishing tournament buddies. It really makes the day special. In any case we are already looking forward to next year. Thanks again to all that fished and made it a great event.
