Diawa LC 27 with the walleye handle should be less than $100. That's what I have.

I don't know if you can find the Shimano Tekota for less than $125. But those are some real nice reels. Very nice drag on them.

Use to like the Daiwa's until 2 of them went to crap in a tournament on back to back days on me. I really like the Okumas now

Sealines are like an old chevy truck that will never die. big clunky. very reliable. cheap to fix. very good cheap reel.

abu garcia 6500LC and shimano tekota are like a lexus and cadiliac. very smooth and well designed..


My vote goes to the 6500LC for 99$ at fleet farm.

If I were to go buy line counters specifiacally for Walleye fishing, what size would I buy? I am thinking I like the price point of the Okumas but I am not sure if the 15,20,25, or 30 is the right size. I will primarily have 14lb mono with flouroleaders if that matters. I am new to this trolling thing.
