Member Posts: 1406 | I have a few on the X-Mas list and maybe some have run them. Rapalas new Glass suspending Shad rap 4 colors in 3 sizes I believe, I heard they have the new "T-Stick" coming out but yet to see anthing official released, and then course the much anticipated Daves Kaboom T-sticks. Who are the Normark boys here in Wisconsin? Is there anything they can add for my shopping list, Gotta love the 12V electric knife kit they put together and all the tool "kits" wish I had 'em all! Good Luck Tyee

Member Posts: 265 Location: Combined Locks, WI | I am a sheet metal worker and the company I work for does a lot of work at Merc. The word I have been hearing from the people we have gotten to know at Merc, have been calling the new Super Charged four stroke engine, the Mako engine. We will have to see if that is the name it is given when released. Being a Merc owner and a tournament fisherman or just a fisherman in general, it is really cool to get to see the inside of Merc. All the motors, the Dyno cells, the foundry, ect.. really cool to see what goes into building engines. Of course we get our job done but it is still fun to keep an eye out on what goes on.

Location: Rhinelander | I have been through the plant there several times. It is truly amazing to see. I found the Prop facility to be fascinating, watching them cast stainless props. it is a bit easier to figure out why a stainless prop costs what it does when one sees the process necessary to build one. I got to run one of the X engines on a Triton Bass rig. It was pure POWER, and very very very very fast.
