Just wondering what landings are still open on the river. Alma, Red Wing? Any others? Len I know the one down there is open. Anything open by Genoa. Just can't get into ice fishing anymore.

The Landings at Everts are wide open and in great shape at Red Wing. As of last Sunday the landing in the backchannel had ice out about 15 ft but has probably opened up by now.

The one at Victory and the Power plant is open.If you go to victory it is best to have 4-wheel drive. And of course the one here is still open and the bite continues to be good.Today was good for 15"-16" saugers with the bonus eye showing up.

I heard that the nuclear plant at Red Wing will be shutting down for a while for repairs. Anyone know when this is supposed to happen and for how long? I'm hoping it's not during my scheduled trip there.

Len,

Is the power plant in Genoa open all the way to the dam?

Thanks,
Bear

Yep it is.But you might want to come down here, today they have been killing the fish anywhere from 15"-18" both saugers and eyes.
