The World Walleye Association has a qualifying tournament in Winneconne Wisconsin Sunday, September 29th. The deadline to sign up for this event is midnight Sunday, September 22nd. You can find more information and sign up on line at [url]www.worldwalleye.com This is a Cabela's side pot tournament when at least 10 teams enter by (or at) the mandatory meeting on Saturday September 28th at Woodeyes in Winneconne.

I had a bunch of questions was going to sign up but no response.How many boats fished the tourny and are you going to do the Wi tourny again next year

The tournament was cancelled due to lack of participation. I am not sure what the answer is to starting a new tourney series in Winnebago, but I do not think the WWA will be back. There just was no interest, they were even willing to waive membership fees and that didn't help. I fish the Illinois series and it is a very well run tournament. Too bad it couldn't make it there as I would have liked to fish both. Heard a rumor there may be no MWS next year either.
