Location: Rhinelander | 46 Teams headed out on the Bays this morning. Near freezing temps and clearing skies, and most importantly, winds forecast to be light will make it easy to get around today, for the first time this week. It's been tough out there. The bite was reported to be very tough during walleyeFIRST interviews this morning. Some of the teams have only caught a couple walleyes during practice, while others reported finding a few fish. Conditions have changed so much no one was overly optimistic, but all said it should take 12 to 15 pounds a day to make the top ten. Little Bay has some smaller fish moving in from the big water, and there were rumors of a few fish caught in practice that broke the 30" mark, so as usual, someone is on 'em, and will bring in a good weight today. The weigh in starts at 3 PM Central, so watch for a full report to be posted by about 5:30 or 6 PM Central. WalleyeFIRST Coverage is brought to you by Lund Boats and Mercury Outboards! Location: Rhinelander | Skarlis and Lahr lead with 19.07, on what was supposed to be a tough bite for them. Tommy and Jeff adjusted nicely and brought the leading bag to the scales. The number of limits wasn't large as predicted, but there obviously were good fish to be caught. Tony Kobriger and Dan Zwick are in second with 18.01. Third is held by Olivier and Galant with 16.15. Fourth are Dahl and Stack with 16.10, and rounding out the top 5 are Doyon and LaFramboise with 15.09.
