What would you think of a spinner rig for trolling crawlers that pulled easily through heavy cover including weeds both floating and not, never snagged up in wood or rocks, and had a feature to change blade size, color, and dressing on the business end? Would that be a good rig to develop? My son owns Violent Strike lures, and he showed me a prototype last night. I think he has something here.

Steve send me a few and I will let you know how they work. J/K. It would be interesting to see how they flow through the water. Great idea I think. You never know what will work untill you try it. Let us know the outcome!

If you had a spinner that only ran thru timber without hanging up, you could win every tournament ever held on Devils Lake, or any other flooded timber in this country, not to mention weeds and other aspects you described. I'd probably buy the patent if I had the money!

Steve.

I'm guessing the hooks would have to be weedless. The front part would have to have a deviating cone or built up collor of sorts to deflect oncoming weeds, rocks or wood both under water and on top. I guess the blade change-out part could be accomplished with todays quick clevisis. And I guess if they were priced right, I'd have to buy 3 of each color just to start with...:-)
