Member Posts: 28 | What would you estimate the top end for a 2007 tuffy 2060 with a 200 hp merc to be? Trying to find one used and think I found one but curious on top end. What were they rated at speed wise? Thanks and tight lines!

I have owned 3 with 225 Opti's, 9.9 Pro kickers and tournament loaded that would run 59.5 to 60.4 with high five props. I have sold a 200 with same options that would pull 54 all day long. The Tuffy Hulls are made to run.

Member Posts: 14 | Count me as surprised! I would have guessed upper 40's at best.

Member Posts: 3899 | Heck, my 1890DS full load would run 56. The 2060 doesn't weigh much more, and there's no more hull in contact either. I can see 54 no problem.

I'm going to assume that you would slow down and fish a couple spots here and there. Just funnin with ya man! Although I've never owned one, I have always liked Tuffy boats. And the people I know that own one, all seem to love them. I just bought a MX-2025 but if that hadn't panned out, Tuffy was on my short list of the boats I planned to look at. It is one of the few boats I've never ridden in and someday, I would like to spend a day fishing in one. Keep your net wet! Boog
