How do I remove scratches from an X-15 face plate?

A buddy tried Flitz, and it worked out for him. He got it at one of the sport shows. Not sure how big your scratches are. Might try Maquires plastic polish, also.

Here's another one worth looking at. It's made by the "star brite" company. Step 1 is called Plastic Scratch Remover and Step 2 is called Plastic Polish/Restorer. It took some pretty nasty scratches out of a couple of 350 A's for me. Hutch

Hutch . . .

Your suggestion was fantastic. The Star Brite scratch remover worked perfectly.

Many thanks!

Good to hear. But now you don't have any excuse why you can't catch ALL the fish you see on the screen. Hutch

To protect the screen from new fine scratches, use a top quality boat wax thinly applied at least twice. It will also aid in shedding water when it's pouring out and you have to make a run to another spot, or are trolling or jigging and need the sonar.
