I have some old South Bend wooden plugs that have the original paint but it is in rough shape. Do you/can you refinish these baits with the original color schemes? I have a 1934 South Bend catalog, which shows the color schemes for the baits I have. I realize the value will not change much, but I'm not interested in selling. I would like to put the baits I have in a Glass top table, but they are just too rough looking right now.

I don't see a problem. If you have the original pics, I should be able to get you an excellent reproduction. I can work out the imperfections and make them look like new. Drop me an e-mail and scan a pic out of that catalog if you can.

What I'd like to do is just send you the baits, along with the book, and you could use it as your guide.
