Anyone got one of these. I believe MinnKota makes a couple different types. A straight handle and a jointed one. Which one is better if either? Thanks.

I have both, I like the straight one better alot less play in it. Cabelas sells them.

Dave, I've used both and very much prefer the straight design over the jointed handle. I would only use the jointed handle if there are clearance issues on your setup. Helmsmate/Minn Kota make two different straight handles for kickers- a fixed 32", and an extendable 36". Jim Carroll NPAA #588

Thanks guys. I ordered the Helmsmate 30"? straight from Cabela's. It was the same price as the Minn Kota that was only 18". I didn't think 18" was enough.
